Is the free trial really free?
Yes, completely free. You get full access to every Hoist feature for 14 days with no credit card required. No hidden fees, no obligations.
What happens after the 14-day trial?
After your trial ends, you can choose to subscribe at $140/month + GST. Every plan includes 3 users. If you decide not to continue, your account simply becomes inactive - no automatic charges.
Do I get access to all features during the trial?
Yes. Your free trial includes full access to every feature: work orders, customer database, invoicing, Xero integration, rego lookups, scheduling, reporting, and more. Nothing is locked and there’s no upgrade to buy.
Can I import my existing data?
Yes. Send us your customer list and everything you service - vehicles, trucks, machinery, marine, whatever it is - from a spreadsheet or another system and we’ll bring it across and set Hoist up for you, free of charge. Get in touch at the start of your trial so there’s time to take a clean export from your old system.
Will my team actually use it?
That’s the real test, which is why the trial runs on your own jobs rather than a demo account. Hoist works in a browser - phone in the pit, tablet at the counter, desktop in the office. Nothing for technicians to install. Most workshops are writing job cards the same day they sign up.
What happens to my data if I don’t continue?
Your trial runs on the same platform as every paying workshop, with the same protections - it’s not a lesser environment. Because we don’t take a card to start, there are no payment details to store. If you decide not to continue, your account becomes inactive, and you can ask us to delete your data.
What support do I get during the free trial?
