Dylan is our leader for a reason. With a deep background in the cybersecurity sector, he knows how to build systems you can trust. But he's not just a security guy; he's a true car enthusiast. Dylan sets the vision for Hoist, steering our growth, building relationships with partners, and making sure our business strategy is as finely tuned as a race engine. He’s obsessed with creating a platform that not only works flawlessly but is also fundamentally secure, protecting your business and your customer data.
Alex Snyman (CTO)
Alex is the master architect behind the Hoist platform. As an experienced software and systems engineer, he's the one who brings the vision to life. Alex leads the development of our software and designs the robust, scalable cloud infrastructure that keeps Hoist running fast and reliably. Alex is passionate about using his technical expertise to solve the real-world problems he’s seen mechanics face for years.
The idea was simple: combine Dylan’s business and security expertise with Alex’s engineering talent to build something special. Something that was powerful under the hood but clean and intuitive on the surface.
We’re not a faceless corporation; we’re just two Kiwis who believe that the hardworking folks in the automotive industry deserve modern tools. Hoist is proudly 100% Kiwi-owned and operated, built from the ground up for the unique demands of New Zealand workshops.
