Our Story

Hoist started in 2023 when we kept hearing the same frustrations from workshop owners: their software was expensive, complicated, and felt stuck in the past. We knew there was room for something better - modern software built specifically for how Kiwi workshops actually operate.

We're not trying to build an empire. We want to make genuinely good software, get feedback from real mechanics doing real work, and prove that great value doesn't need a massive price tag. Our beta is now open, and we're excited to work with workshops who want to help shape what Hoist becomes.
